This week at the Legislature was again dominated by floor votes- there wasn’t that much committee action (except in Rules). Lots of action on the Floor and many of the bills that we support are in good shape. Grants the Arizona Department of Insurance the authority to enforce mental health parity, and establishes the Suicide Mortality Review Team and the Children’s Behavioral Health Services Fund (Fund). Appropriates funds to the Department of Education for services to prevent suicide among children.
