AI is moving quickly into just about every part of our lives – including public health.
For people working in public health, the challenge is figuring out what AI can actually do, where it can be useful, and how to use these new tools responsibly.
The UA College of Public Health is helping with that. Through its AI for Public Health Initiative, the College is offering a completely free online Public Health & AI course for public health professionals across Arizona.
The course is self-paced, introductory, and designed for people who don’t have a technical background in artificial intelligence.
There are 14 short videos covering topics including artificial intelligence, data visualization, wearable devices and other emerging technologies that are becoming increasingly relevant to public health practice.
There’s no complicated enrollment process.
